Operator of tricycles popularly known as Keke NAPEP in Jos, the Plateau State Capital are on protest according to information made available 
On the social media, people were advised to avoid Bauchi Road as depicted in this message by a facebook user “Pls avoid bauchi road today. Youths blocking major streets with sticks. This is not fake news. Spread fast.”
According to report, they are protest exorbitant tax being charged on them which they said is unreasonably high considering the harsh economic realities in the nation and constant harassment on them by men of the Vehicle Inspection Office of Plateau State Ministry of Works and Transport.
In Dilimi Jos North LGA, the operators and law enforcement agencies are currently having a face-off according to report and people are advised to avoid that vicinity.
This protest has grounded their operations within Jos and left many who patronizes that means of transportation stranded.
